36 CHASE & BARNS RESIDENCY
Works created while in residence in North Adams November 2018 - January 2019.
The work made at the residency is focused on the negotiation of an Italian American/Catholicism infused upbringing with ideas of boyhood and ideas of queerness. Technically, the work explores some metaphors within what paint itself can do, whether that be ghost printing or covering. I often made use of ready-mades, either using objects to contextualize paintings, or having them stand alone.
